AT&T and Washingtonian's Best of Washington ? Little Black Blog

If you?re going to call yourself the best Washington has to offer, you?d better deliver. And Washingtonian?s Best of Washington, sponsored by AT&T, certainly did just that.

The Best of Washington party featured the city?s premiere restaurants and bars, serving up delicious libations and sumptuous, cutting-edge cuisine.?Over 60 of?Washingtonian?s?100 Very Best Restaurants, such as Michel Richard?s Citronelle, Robert Wiedmaier?s Brasserie Beck, and Scott Drewno?s The Source, served tastes of their famous dishes.?All funds from the silent auction and a portion of the ticket proceeds benefited the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, the designated charity of the event.

In addition to the exquisite gourmet offerings, design of the event was breathtaking while still being whimsical. An elevated platform served as a seat to a young girl holding an enormous collection of oversized balloons, transporting guests to a fairy tale candyland. Meanwhile, bartenders below served up signature cocktails decked out in candy shop-style uniforms, keeping with the lightheartedness of the fascinating display.
